The post holder will provide leadership and supervisory skills to enable the training programme to meet its agreed aims and objectives within an efficient, safe and effective working environment. The role involves maintaining an efficient and committed team within a developing corporate ethos.
Key responsibilities include playing an active part as a team member in providing administrative support and coordinating timetables for the clinical team delivering the training.
The post holder will act as the first point of contact for all training enquiries from internal and external colleagues and patients, and will support the clinical team in delivering the training plan programme across sexual health and primary care.
The role also involves carrying out reports and administrative duties including booking trainees into placements and managing the waiting list for training placements.
The Blackpool and Lancashire Sexual Health Service provides expert advice, guidance and treatment on all aspects of sexual health, including sexually transmitted infections, HIV and contraception (pills, injections, implants and coils). The team of doctors and nurses provides Sexual Health Services across Blackpool and Lancashire, testing and treating a variety of sexual health related conditions in line with national guidelines.
