The Role You’ll support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate monthly reporting, maintaining financial control, and providing meaningful insight into business performance. You’ll also work closely with colleagues across the business to support budgeting, forecasting, and day-to-day financial matters. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and month-end schedules Maintaining the general ledger and supporting reconciliations Assisting with draft management accounts and variance analysis Producing MI and KPI reporting Reviewing aged debtors and creditors, escalating issues where needed Supporting cashflow forecasting and margin analysis Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes Assisting with audit queries and maintaining strong financial controls About You You may be part-qualified or newly qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW) and looking to build on your experience in a stable, growing business. You’ll bring: Experience of month-end processes and reconciliations Strong Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems Understanding of UK VAT Good organisational skills and attention to detail Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach A practical, solution-focused mindset You’re comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and contributing as part of a team. Working Pattern This is a hybrid role with three days in the Bristol office to collaborate with the wider Finance and business teams.
