Live In Nanny Job – Cheshire – Early 2026 start – 4 bed accommodation - £competitive depending on experience
A highly recommended family in rural Cheshire is seeking a professional, experienced Live In Nanny to join their household from early 2026.
This is a sole charge / proxy parenting role for three school-aged children (aged 10+), with a focus on weekends as the children board during the week.
While the children are at school during the week, this is your time to organise everything for them at home and prepare for them to be home on the weekend. You will be working as part of a wider team of household staff and there will be some help with the children as and when needed on busy days.
This role offers excellent accommodation in the form of a separate 4 bed property on the estate. This is a highly recommended role as the current Nanny is retiring after many years working for the family.

2. Plan and undertake appropriate creative, educational and outdoor activities with the children including day trips to meet their interests
3. Undertake driving of children to school, fixtures, events, activities, sleepovers or parties
4. Plan, prepare and supervise children’s meals and snacks daily
5. Clean and wash up after children's meals
6. Ensure children are dressed and prepared appropriately for their activities or engagements, packing day bags (including for sporting activities) and organising ad-hoc items as necessary
7. Undertake the washing, ironing and tidying of children’s clothes, laundry and personal items including wardrobe management
8. Shop for and purchase items the children require, including food, clothes, school uniforms, sporting and any specialist equipment
9. Encourage and assist with the educational needs of the children, including homework, projects and school requests or requirements
10. Prepare boarding school bags, items and essentials for time away from the family home
11. Tidy the children’s bedrooms and play areas
12. Ensure appropriate discipline for the children at all times, whilst providing appropriate care if and when the children are unwell
13. Organising birthday parties and preparing gifts for other children’s parties
14. Undertaking light housework relating to the children where necessary
15. Running general errands for the needs of the children and family
Essential skills and attributes:
16. Flexibility to meet the needs of the children and family
17. Adaptable to changing requirements and needs of the children
18. Ability to multitask and plan a number of activities and logistics
19. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
20. Reliable with strong work ethics
