Welding Inspector (Weekend Shift, 3 Day Week – PCN Level 2)Location: RotherhamSalary: £17.51 per hour (circa £31,412.94 per annum based on 34.5 hours)Contract: Full-time, permanentHours: Friday to Sunday, 6:00am to 6:00pmMost people still work five days.This role doesn't. You work Friday to Sunday, then you're off for four full days before starting again.If you're used to a full working week, this is just a different way of structuring it. Same type of work, just with more time away from it.In most fabrication environments, inspection only happens at the end of the process.
By that point, issues are harder to resolve and quality can suffer, leaving inspectors picking up problems rather than preventing them.This role is different. You will be involved throughout the fabrication process, helping maintain standards as work moves through production rather than checking it after the fact.
