Typical weekly earnings based on a 50-hour week:
45 basic hours - £567.00
5 hours overtime - £65.35
5 x meal allowance - £25.00
Total before tax - £657.35
This is based on £12.60/hr basic rate rising to £13.07/hr overtime rate; £5/day meal allowance
R McDowell Haulage and Distribution, established over 40 years ago, is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers to expand its workforce. We are committed to investing over £1 million annually in our fleet of over 100 vehicles. We provide customers with nationwide distribution solutions.
The successful candidate will be out in the vehicle Monday to Friday, delivering palletised goods into the BD postcode area.
Most deliveries are made using a tail lift and a pallet truck, but occasional handball assistance may be required.
Successful candidates need a thorough understanding of drivers' hours, excellent customer service skills, and a positive attitude.
You will need a digital tachograph card and full CPC.
