As a Senior Mission Systems Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll contribute to the design and integration of mission-critical systems — including Communications, Navigation, Command and Control, and Sensors — across complex naval platforms. Your expertise will help deliver advanced capability to our customers and shape projects that protect national security. This is your chance to make a real impact while developing your career in a dynamic, innovative environment.

2. Support the generation and assessment of sensor and weapon suite options for concept designs.
3. Take ownership of compartments or systems through all design stages.
4. Specify, select, and manage external suppliers for components and services.
5. Contribute to Combat Systems and Mission Systems engineering activities across projects.
This role is full time and is a hybrid role with 2 days onsite and 3 days working from home.

6. Broad knowledge of Mission Systems integration (Communications, Navigation, Command and Control, Sensors/Effectors).
7. Experience delivering responsibilities within mission systems physical integration on marine platforms.
8. Ability to work effectively within a multi-discipline team.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications for the Senior Mission Systems Engineer:
10. Ideally degree-qualified in an engineering discipline (HND/HNC with extensive experience considered).
11. Membership of a relevant institution and a clear route to chartership.
12. Eligible to work with controlled goods, technology, or services (including ITAR compliance).
