An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Lead Nurse in the Learning Disabilities Service. This is for a fixed term contract of 12 months in the first instance.
The Fife Learning Disabilities Service is a dynamic service which provides support across Fife through community and inpatient settings, primarily from Lynebank Hospital, Dunfermline. You will be responsible for the effective delivery of high quality nursing care as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.
You will participate in national developmental processes within the learning disability nursing portfolio and will lead on these initiatives in the Fife learning disability service. This will also include the implementation of appropriate national directives.
As part of a wider mental health and learning disability service, the post holder will also have the opportunity to participate in processes that support service re design.
You will have experience of operational management at Band 7 level, Have extensive knowledge of learning disability services and be able to demonstrate experience of leading teams.
