Learning Support Assistant (maternity cover) 14 hours per week, 38 weeks per year Hours: to be worked 3 days a week between 9.00am – 3.00pm Full time equivalent salary range: per annum: £25,992 - £28,624 Actual salary range for working 38 weeks a year term time only per annum: £8,223 - £9,056 Additional paid duties for break time supervision and a toileting allowance of £40 a month are also available This is a fantastic opportunity to support a range of students who experience barriers to learning or have an identified special educational need. The post holder will be responsible to our SENDCO. Our staff are critical in supporting our students and really want to make a difference to young people’s lives. Reporting to the SENDCO, you will support children with special educational needs and offer inclass support to individuals or groups of children in the classroom under the supervision of the classroom teacher. You will also work with identified children individually outside of the classroom as appropriate and maintain records on student progress and input relevant information into computer records.
