The following shifts are available:
1. Permanent full time role working on a 4 on and 2 off roster pattern- 192 hours/6 weeks roster period working from Monday to Sunday (some weekends included) - Location- Hamilton and Cambridge Care Homes
2.Permanent part time role working on a 4 on and 2 off roster pattern- 132 hours/6 weeks roster period working from Monday to Sunday (some weekends included)- Location- Cambridge Care Home.
3. Fixed Termrole available till 06 December 2025- working on a 4 on and 2 off roster pattern- 96 hours/6 weeks roster period working from Monday to Sunday (some weekends included)- Location-Cambridge Care Home.
4. Casual- There are no guaranteed weekly hours, hence, the preferred candidate must be flexible to work shifts as required at the care home- Location-Hamilton Care Home.
You will help us rise to the challenges of enriching the lives of society’s most vulnerable.
As a Caregiver at Bupa, you will work under the guidance and supervision of qualified nursing staff and management, to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will be encouraged to develop deeper relationships with residents and their families, delivering the highest quality person first care to residents in line with their individual care plan.
Where You Will Make an Impact
* Provide personal care assistance with daily living, whilst treating residents with respect and dignity.
* Mobility assistance in accordance with resident care plans.
* Maintain accurate health care documentation as required.
* Encourage all residents to participate in scheduled social activities.
* Contribute to the development of a positive, safe, home environment for residents, visitors, and the wider team.
What About You
* An NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2-4 is preferred.
* Ideally you will have a minimum of 1 year of experience within aged care.
* Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm, dedication to care, and passion for enriching the lives of the elderly.
* Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
* Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
