EMEA Recruitment is partnering with a global organisation to recruit an Compliance Manager.
This position plays a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the compliance infrastructure across the EMEA region. Working within a dynamic and international environment, you will partner with senior stakeholders to ensure robust governance, effective risk management, and high ethical standards throughout the organisation.
The role offers the opportunity to influence and develop regional compliance practices, acting as a key point of contact for guidance, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
We are looking for a proactive compliance professional who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level, and who thrives in a collaborative, global setting.
Core responsibilities include:
* Supporting the evolution and implementation of the regional Ethics & Compliance strategy across EMEA
* Tracking regulatory and legislative developments and translating them into clear, practical guidance for internal stakeholders
* Assisting with the design, rollout, and monitoring of compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
* Conducting and coordinating regional compliance risk assessments, including third-party due diligence and oversight
* Developing and delivering engaging training programmes to promote awareness of compliance obligations and ethical standards
* Managing and strengthening internal reporting mechanisms, including speak-up channels and escalation processes
* Leading and coordinating internal investigations across EMEA, with exposure to global matters as required
* Working closely with global Legal & Compliance colleagues to enhance reporting, governance processes, and data-driven insights
About you:
* Degree educated, ideally with a background in Law or a related discipline
* Solid experience within a corporate compliance function, including exposure to investigations, risk assessments, and ethics programmes
* Comfortable navigating a multi-jurisdictional environment and balancing regulatory requirements with commercial priorities
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Fluent in English and German (advantageous)
