The role:
As an Assistant Management Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the commercial finance team in carrying out month-end tasks and financial reporting to support the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out management accounting tasks, including full balance sheet reconciliations and posting journals (e.g., accruals, prepayments).
* Assist with budgets, forecasting and monthly management accounts.
* Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
* Adhoc financial reporting tasks as required by the team.
The Ideal Candidate:
* ACCA/CIMA studier or AAT Qualified Accountant
* Experience in a month-end role carrying out balance sheet reconciliations and posting journals.
* Excellent Excel skills, and comfortable handling large data sets
* Great communication and interpersonal abilities
