About Projects Abroad

Projects Abroad is a B Corp Certified educational travel organisation operating worldwide since 1992. We design purposeful overseas programmes for schools, students, and young people, combining travel with real learning, service, and personal development.

As part of our growth strategy, we're investing in building a more disciplined, scalable outbound sales engine.

The Role

Your goal is simple: build the pipeline.

This is a pure outbound, high-volume, fast-moving role. You're not managing accounts or closing deals (yet). You're the specialist who breaks the ice and opens doors.

You'll call schools and education leads, quickly qualify interest, and book high-quality meetings for our Senior Partnership Managers. Your sole focus is generating qualified meetings that turn into real opportunities.

If you're good at this, you'll directly free up senior sales capacity and become one of the most valuable people in the sales funnel.

What You'll Do

* Call high schools from ready-to-go, fully provided contact lists, allowing you to focus purely on conversations and booking meetings.
* Confidently reach decision-makers (Heads of Dept, Careers Leads, Senior Leadership) in schools and colleges
* Run structured qualification calls using a clear script to quickly assess fit and book meetings
* Book meetings directly into the sales team calendars
* Keep HubSpot CRM meticulously up to date
* Hit clear daily and weekly activity targets (dials, conversations, meetings booked)
* This is high-volume, repetitive work. Resilience and consistency matter more than flair.

Who We're Looking For

You will likely thrive if you are:

* Comfortable being told "no" repeatedly — you view rejection as one step closer to "yes"
* Clear, articulate, and confident on the phone
* Organised and process-driven
* Motivated by targets and visible results
* Resilient, focused, and hard to knock off rhythm
* Can build rapport in 30 seconds and explain value clearly

Experience that helps (but isn't essential):

* Call-centre, telesales, or SDR experience
* CRM experience (HubSpot a plus)
* Education, travel, or B2B exposure

Performance Expectations

This role comes with hard targets and full transparency.

You'll be measured on:

* Call activity
* Conversations held
* Meetings booked
* Data quality in HubSpot

Progression

This is a deliberate entry point into the business. Strong performers will be first in line for progression into:

* B2C Sales roles
* B2B Partnership Relationship roles
* Other commercial or operational positions

Pay: £22,380.00 per year
