The CMO IDM Business Partner Lead leads the team of CMO Business Partners and tier 2 in-market Commercial Operations teams across the International Developed Markets. As a member of the extended IDM Leadership Team, the CMO IDM BP Lead is the primary CMO interface for the Regional President for non-analytics CMO capabilities and platforms. Within markets, the CMO Business Partners are the primary CMO interface for local commercial leaders. By leveraging their local CMO teams and the broader CMO network, they empower commercial leaders to exceed their priorities’ objectives, by enabling accelerated commercial transformations and enhancing executional excellence at scale with CMO’s end-to-end commercial expertise. CMO Business Partners Lead, IDM report to CMO International Business Partner Lead within the Global Commercial Excellence & Enablement Organization in the Chief Marketing Office. The CMO Business Partner Lead is responsible for enabling a cohesive and integrated CMO model for commercial teams across IDM. Serving as a strategic, cross-functional partner with a holistic understanding of business drivers, the role ensures consistency of capability, effective ways of working, and commercial excellence framework implementation to accelerate business performance and drive strategic impact. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Partners closely with IDM Regional and Country Presidents to identify, define and prioritise local market commercial priorities: Routinely seeks and captures Regional and Country commercial priorities and knots. Uses strong consultation skills to gains a thorough understanding of each priority and a clear picture of the expected outcomes. Attends IDM leadership forums to gather insights on commercial priorities and strategies and advises on how CMO capabilities and opportunities can best address business needs. Through the team of local CMO Business Partners, ensures a deep understanding of local commercial priorities and alignment on opportunities for CMO support to enable growth and business excellence. Partners with Program Management Team to capture priorities in a consistent and centralised way. Translate business priorities into actionable opportunities leveraging CMO expertise and resources: Builds a deep understanding of CMO strategic imperatives, current capabilities, frameworks and standards across the team of CMO BPs. Communicates CMO capabilities and their value to key regional stakeholders, ensuring awareness and supports regional prioritisation discussions. Through the local CMO BPs, partners with commercial leaders to identify and prioritize existing and new capabilities that enable faster and more impactful execution of business strategies. Leads a consistent framework to define the execution needs for priority knots and ensures alignment with CMO value drivers in each market. Ensures local business needs are continually anticipated and assessed to leverage CMO expertise and resources for increased agility, efficiency, and ROI. Serves as the voice of the business in regional and global CMO forums, ensuring a clear understanding of priorities, opportunities, and challenges, particularly for priority knots, and advocates for these needs within the CMO organization. Influences and drives resource allocation and investment prioritization within CMO to deliver maximum value. Drives executional support for new capabilities, knots and business priorities: Coordinates across CMO verticals to provide focused support and resourcing for priority knots, ensuring consistency and alignment across initiatives. Collaborates with the business on regional strategic goals, taking shared accountability for delivering measurable outcomes – cascading this shared accountability through the team where appropriate. Leads and partners on regional commercial initiatives requiring critical CMO support. Bridges leaders to CMO expertise and simplifies the escalation of issues and troubleshooting key initiatives. Tracks performance metrics for CMO initiatives, translating insights into actionable recommendations. Fosters a strong commercial performance culture and champions the adoption of new capabilities within the business and across the CMO team. Fosters matrix leadership within CMO and with the business: Proactively leads the network of CMO leaders within IDM – enabling a culture of collaboration, business focus and high-performance. business focus. Leads continuous improvement initiatives to simplify and optimize ways of working within CMO as well as between CMO and commercial teams. Ensures CMO operational services meet business needs: Fully accountable for operational service delivery within Tier 2 markets for CFC Delivery, Incentive Compensation and Marketing Channel Delivery. Understands and anticipates business needs and demand for operational services. Works with service owners to ensure capacity available to meet market and regional needs. Proactively identifies opportunities to improve BAU service delivery processes. Serves as a point of escalation for resolution for major service delivery-related incidents and owns the resolution. Develops high-performing team: Leads and coach the CMO BPs to ensure they are motivated, equipped and empowered with the knowledge, skills, expertise and support to effectively lead their teams and support the business priorities. Builds and enhance a growth mindset that enables the continuous development of capabilities and talent. Encourages a culture of high collaboration, appropriate challenge and high support within the team and across the broader CMO network. Leads by example – demonstrating strong change leadership, compliance and thoughtful risk-taking. Rewards and recognises teams and individuals that are performing in line with Pfizer Values and Actionable Attitudes. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree. Extensive relevant work experience, preferably commercial experience in marketing across pharma and other industries. A proven track record of strong networking with senior leaders and working collaboratively across functions and geographies. Strong analytical skills to conduct root cause analyses to diagnoses and prioritize the right problem/solution. Cross-functional and cross-business project leadership experience. Strong leadership capabilities including the ability to effectively influence senior leaders, engage and collaborate other leaders/peers, guide/support the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact. An active contributor to create and operate in an inclusive environment that continuously embraces and encourages the implementation of new capabilities, innovative ideas, generates high-performance and fosters a culture of collaboration and teamwork. Demonstrated ability to effectively work on multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency and enthusiasm while prioritizing and meeting brand/business goals. Strong writing, presentation and influencing skills in English. NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Regular, the role will require flexibility to work with US time-zone on regular basis.
