Technical Sales Manager – Chemicals
Salary : £55–75k DOE + bonuses

A fast-growing UK-based speciality chemicals business is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead and grow a new business unit focused on raw materials for food, feed, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical applications. This is a high-impact, commercial role ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a proven track record in B2B chemical sales.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive growth of a new speciality raw materials business unit
* Develop and lead a sales team as the unit scales
* Build and manage key customer relationships
* Identify new business opportunities in the UK & EU
* Conduct market analysis and track sales performance
* Deliver technical and commercial presentations
* Oversee budgeting, P&L, and profitability
* Represent the company at industry events
* Improve sales processes and tools
* Travel to customers, distributors, and suppliers
Key Requirements
* 3–5+ years B2B technical sales experience in chemicals
* Strong Chemistry background (BSc / MSc or equivalent)
