What you'll be doing…
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team of cleaners to ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety. You'll coordinate daily cleaning operations, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* Supervise and support cleaning staff across designated areas or shifts
* Allocate tasks, manage rotas, and ensure coverage for absences or additional needs
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are consistently met
* Provide training and guidance on cleaning procedures, equipment, and health & safety
* Ensure correct and safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials in line with COSHH regulations
* Maintain stock levels and request supplies as required
* Report maintenance or facility issues to the appropriate team
* Act as the point of contact for any site-level cleaning concerns or queries
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 18:00 till 22:00, flexibility potential, 20 hours per week
What can you bring?
* Experience in a cleaning role, with supervisory or team-leading experience
* Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and health & safety standards
* Familiarity with COSHH regulations and safe working practices
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
* Good communication and people management skills
* Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
* Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work
