About the Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for the full commercial lifecycle of allocated contracts-ensuring accurate cost control, contract compliance, and maximised working capital. You'll work closely with operational teams, clients, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality, cost-effective outcomes on highways and civil engineering projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the commercial management of highways contracts from tender to final account Ensure timely application and collection of revenue in line with contract terms Support pre-contract and tender activities, including contract negotiation Manage subcontractor procurement, engagement, and payment processes Monitor and report on project costs, cash flow, and commercial performance Maintain accurate records and produce financial forecasts and reports Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal, and company standards Identify and report unsafe practices during site visits What You'll Bring Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in highways or civil engineering Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial best practices Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders effectively Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management Ready to take the lead on commercial excellence?
