Job description
HR Assistant - People Services
An opportunity has arisen for an temporary HR Assistant within the People Services Department at Cheshire Constabulary.
Please be aware that this position is temporary for 12 months.
This role will provide administrative support to the HR team ensuring that a full administrative service is delivered, whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service. As well as recording and managing sensitive and confidential information in line with Force policy and GDPR.
It will involve liaising with colleagues across the People Services Team, providing support to other departments through the provision of accurate reporting, data and acting as the first point of contact for queries from internal and external customers.
We are looking to recruit an individual that has excellent IT skills – particularly Excel, who has a can-do attitude, a willingness to learn and a professional customer service focus. Great communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
The successful candidate must also have excellent team working skills, but also be able to work independently, prioritising their own workload, completing tasks to a high standard. HR experience is desirable but not essential.
