Growth Operations & CRM Marketing Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite, remainder remote)

Contract Length: Initial 6 months

Rate: £20 per hour PAYE

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical Growth Operations & CRM Marketing Analyst to join a fast-paced consumer-focused business. This role sits within a growth team responsible for driving customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifecycle marketing initiatives at scale.

You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Commercial, and Leadership teams to execute data-driven growth strategies, optimize CRM performance, and deliver insights that influence business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Own and coordinate CRM and customer engagement campaign calendars across multiple stakeholders.
* Execute and optimize large-scale customer campaigns across owned channels including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other CRM touchpoints.
* Analyze campaign performance and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
* Build, maintain, and run SQL queries to extract and analyse customer and campaign data.
* Monitor key performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations to improve customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
* Support experimentation initiatives including A/B testing and performance measurement.
* Partner with Marketing, Operations, Commercial teams, and senior stakeholders to drive successful campaign execution.
* Present insights and recommendations to leadership teams.

Required Skills & Experience

SQL (Essential)

Candidates must be comfortable:

* Writing SQL queries independently
* Pulling and manipulating customer data
* Working with large datasets
* Analysing campaign and customer performance

Data Analysis

Strong analytical capability with experience:

* Identifying trends and customer insights
* Measuring campaign effectiveness
* Running experiments and A/B tests
* Turning data into business recommendations

CRM / Customer Marketing

Experience across one or more of:

* Email marketing
* Push notifications
* In-app messaging
* Lifecycle marketing
* Customer engagement and retention campaigns

Stakeholder Management

Proven ability to collaborate with:

* Marketing teams
* Operations teams
* Commercial/Sales teams
* Senior leadership stakeholders

Ideal Background

Candidates from high-growth consumer, e-commerce, marketplace, fintech, telecoms, retail, travel, or subscription businesses are particularly of interest.

* Telecommunications providers
* Travel and booking platforms
* Consumer technology companies
