Maths Graduate Teaching AssistantWokingSeptember start £107-£120 per day
Veritas Education are currently seeking dedicated and adaptable Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Woking. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, supporting students' learning, building their confidence, and making a meaningful impact on their educational journey. The role is full-time, term-time only, and available to start in September 2026.
Responsibilities for Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant include:
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging maths lessons and supporting classroom learning.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with SEN, helping to reinforce learning.
* Support the development of students' academic skills as well as their social and emotional growth.
* Help manage classroom behavior and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
* Prepare and organise teaching resources to support lesson delivery and student engagement.
* Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to track student progress and implement learning strategies.
About you:
* Degree in an Maths or a related subject
* Experience working with children or young people (e.g. in schools, tutoring, youth work, or mentoring)
* Demonstrate enthusiasm and a professional and friendly approach
* Have knowledge and/or experience supporting students within special educational needs
* School based experience preferred but not essential
