Key Responsibilities
* Lead the cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple water sector projects
* Manage and administer contracts, ensuring compliance and commercial performance
* Oversee change control processes, including assessment, valuation, and agreement of variations
* Prepare and manage interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reports
* Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
* Provide accurate financial reporting and cash flow projections
* Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and performance
* Support project teams with commercial advice and strategy
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure transparency and alignment
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the water/utilities sector
* Strong knowledge of contract frameworks (e.g. NEC preferred)
* Demonstrated expertise in cost forecasting and change management
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
