About the apprenticeship
Duties
Number One Gym in Queensferry are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has a Level 2 in Gym Instructor (will need evidence of certificate if successful), is passionate about fitness and wants to progress their career in the health and fitness industry while completing their Level 3 Personal Training qualification.
As an Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience working in a busy gym environment while learning the skills needed to become a confident and knowledgeable personal trainer.
During the Apprenticeship, you will:
•Work towards completing your Level 3 Personal Training qualification
•Support members on the gym floor with guidance and basic exercise technique
•Assist experienced personal trainers and gym staff
•Help deliver inductions and basic training sessions
•Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the gym
•Build relationships with members and provide excellent customer service
•Learn how to programme workouts and support clients with their fitness goals
•Gain experience in running group sessions and personal training
Additional information
16 hours per week - Monday 16:00 - 21:00
Tuesday 06:30 - 13:30 the additional flexible cover shifts for holidays etc
