Senior MEICA Estimator
We're looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Natural Resources Team, with a focus on MEICA you'll cover estimating tasks on our well established Severn Trent framework which is growing in AMP8.
Location : With remote working, you'll also be able to travel to client sites and offices the Severn Trent patch
Contract : Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know
What are my responsibilities?
As a Mechanical & Electrical Senior Estimator you'll work closely with other members of our framework delivery team and the Client, to deliver value for money solutions in line with the framework requirements.
Your day to day will include:
1. Input into all aspects of the pre-construction phase of projects, including early contractor involvement and carrying out pre-work prior to tenders arriving.
2. Preparing multi-discipline tender pricing with the ability to produce differing levels of pricing, from top-down budgets to bottom-up lump sums or targets.
3. Read and understand the client specifications and drawings whilst considering site safety, health, quality and environmental issues.
4. Attend internal and external reviews and progress meetings as well as site visits/meetings.
