Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential service in Wellington. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people! As a Senior Support Worker with us you’ll be helping people gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day‑to‑day supervision and management of the service. You’ll be allocating shifts, booking training, inducting new colleagues, supporting supervision, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day‑to‑day support.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Manager with day‑to‑day supervision and management of the residential service.
* Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues, support supervision.
* Order medication and ensure support recipients manage their finances.
* Help people gain more independence in their daily lives.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, Level 3 in Health & Social Care, and experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour’s of distress, mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, autism, and people who have experienced trauma.

Pay & Shifts
Senior Support Worker Wellington – £14.06 p/h
Typical shifts: 08:00 – 20:30, working three shifts a week including alternate weekends.
