We are an award‑winning drainage company based in East Kent who are seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our team. The required applicant MUST have at least 3 years hands‑on experience unblocking drains through the use of high pressure water jetting equipment, electro‑mechanical tools and manual equipment where necessary.
The applicant must live in Thanet or the surrounding areas.
The candidate will be supplied with a fully equipped company van and will be expected to attend, often on their own, to resolve drainage issues on both domestic and commercial sites. As such, a full clean UK driving licence will be required. Some training can be given but the candidate will be expected to be able to diagnose and resolve the issues themselves.
In addition to unblocking drains, the candidate will be required to carry out CCTV survey works on both domestic and commercial properties, including building sites.
The working hours will be 08.00‑17.00 Monday to Friday. In addition to this, cover of an on‑call rota will be required including some evenings and weekends.
Please note, as part of the interview process, you will be required to demonstrate your knowledge of the tools and ability to unblock both internal facilities and external drains.
