Job Description
* Manage and maintain the accounts receivable and credit control processes
* Process and reconcile payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
* Evaluate customer creditworthiness and establish credit limits
* Resolve client discrepancies and short payments
* Coordinate with the sales team to support credit application process
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
* Comply with all regulations and laws within the retail industry
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
* A strong understanding of financial regulations and laws
* Excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to work under pressure
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* An educational background in finance, accounting or a related field
