Graduate Landscape Architect/Garden Designer

Daniel Combes Garden Design is looking for a Graduate Landscape Architect or Garden Designer, with a minimum of two year's studio experience, to join our flourishing, rural studio in Semley, Wiltshire.
We work throughout the UK, typically on historic homes and large country houses on both a garden and landscape level. We are passionate about what we do and are looking for a candidate who will share the ethos of the studio to produce beautiful, deeply considered, detailed work for discerning clients. We collaborate with a wide range of specialist craftspeople and architects and take pride in creating timeless gardens that will endure.
Role and Responsibilities
* You will support the work on a variety of projects from concept design through to delivery via thoughtful collaboration with the senior team members
* Producing masterplans, planting plans and detail drawings using Vectorworks
* Ability to work individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary project team
* Supporting the design team to fulfil project deliverables and deadlines
* Producing high quality, coordinated documents and drawings
* Ensuring meticulous organisation of project files in accordance with company standards
* Ability to operate within a defined company process for consistent output
* Preparing relevant information for planning, tender, and construction stages including schedules for costing, detail design drawings, and outline planting plans
* Attending site meetings and following up in accordance where necessary
* Setting out plants on site if necessary
* Engaging with developing and growing the company
Essential skills:
* Degree in Landscape Architecture or experience from a relevant discipline
* Proficiency in Vectorworks, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office
* Confidence to communicate ideas within a studio design team
* Excellent communication, organisation and management skills
* Be a proactive and motivated all-rounder with a positive attitude
* Full UK driving licence
