Your new role:
As the Head of Procurement, you will lead the existing team responsible for delivering high-impact services across procurement and contract management (circa 20). You will act as the senior advisor on procurement strategy, compliance, and market engagement, providing expert guidance to senior stakeholders, including senior directors.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and delivering procurement strategies aligned with legislative frameworks and organisational goals
* Leading strategic planning, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Managing complex budgets and ensuring financial control and best value
* Driving collaboration with external partners and providers to enhance service delivery
* Deputising for senior leadership and contributing to corporate decision-making
* Leading the team through a journey of modernisation
