Job Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
* Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Monitor key financial metrics and identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and efficiency.
* Support month-end and year-end closing processes with precision and efficiency.
* Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis.
* Continuously enhance financial processes and systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
The Successful Candidate
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
* Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within the retail industry.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in financial systems (SAP).
* Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
* A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
