We’re looking for an inspiring Security Manager to lead our dedicated security team and help create an exceptional, safe experience for every guest who visits our park. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee day‑to‑day security operations, ensuring our environment is welcoming, secure, and running smoothly.
Role is based in Sandford, Wareham.
What you will be doing
* Planning resource levels to ensure the park has the required level of security.
* Utilising Security team members to effectively patrol the park, providing a deterrent and preventing situations where necessary.
* Ensuring compliance with security assignment instructions.
* Managing incidents and situations, ensuring correct escalation, and reporting.
* Managing security technology and CCTV.
* Carrying out full and unbiased investigations, providing detailed statements and reports, ensuring that all security activity has been recorded appropriately.
* Using the on-park systems to review security Data.
* Identifying and managing security vulnerabilities and risks to the park.
* Liaising with local enforcement authorities for routine inspections and investigations.
* Attending Management and Regional Meetings to promote security awareness to colleagues.
* Fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, trust and continuous improvement.
* Conducting regular 1:1s and team briefings to ensure your team are engaged and working efficiently and effectively.
About you
* Experience managing a team.
* Current SIA licence (Minimum Door Supervision) & full clean UK driving licence (Manual Car).
* Excellent customer service skills & confident to communicate and influence.
* Ability to drive positive security culture within a team, and effectively manage and develop a team.
* Commercial awareness, able to manage a budget and rota.
* Able to manage a high pressure, fast paced work environment.
