Overview
Delivery Driver (Zero/Casual Hours) at GSF Car Parts. The role involves delivering parts to customers and providing excellent customer service as the face of the brand. You will help gather customer feedback and ensure deliveries are made within the promised time.
About The Role
As a Delivery Driver working on a zero hour/casual contract, you will support the branch in covering holidays or absences. You will contribute to the overall success of the high-performing organisation and promote the Company brand through positive customer interactions.
Main Duties Include
* Delivering product to customers’ premises within a 40 mile radius
* Ensure high levels of customer service at all times
* Feedback to branch on relevant customer and competitor activity
* Load your vehicle according to procedures
* Collect customer returns as required
* Vehicle maintenance including carrying out daily checks
* Help in the warehouse as required
* Assist with inter-branch transfer deliveries as required
Working Hours
Up to 41 hours (average) Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working — depending on branch cover.
About You
What you'll need to succeed:
* Must hold a full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points
* Minimum of 3 years driving experience
* Excellent knowledge of the 40 mile radius of the branch
* Previous experience in a delivery driver role
* Understanding of the necessity of excellent customer service standards
* Ability to meet deadlines with good time keeping
* Customer focused, driven to achieve and willing to go the extra mile
