Yoxford and Peasenhall School have an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced, dedicated, friendly and professional Teaching Assistant who can work effectively with children with special educational needs and challenging behaviours. You will be expected to deliver a nurture-based style intervention provision for a small number of children daily, working alongside the class teacher. In addition, you will have a passion to help embed a successful breakfast and after school provision.
We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:
* have a strong relationship building skills and techniques
* are passionate about helping children reach their potential despite challenges
* can communicate clearly with children and adults, verbally and in writing
* have experience of working with all ages of children in school
* can support a range of abilities of pupils with SEND
* can contribute to assessments
* can adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
* is confident in supporting good behaviour management skills and is confident in deploying a range of behaviour management strategies
* have a desire to participate in school and trust CPD (Continuing Professional Development) opportunities
* have a full understanding of Safeguarding.

Qualifications:
Essential:
* Grade C /4+ level Numeracy and Literacy
* Has a basic level of computer literacy
Desirable:
* relevant HLTA qualification, TA qualification or relevant experience
