This is a hands-on workshop position in our Altrincham showroom, ideal for a Jeweller who thrives on variety.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out all aspects of jewellery repair and restoration.
* Handmaking bespoke pieces in gold and platinum to the highest standard.
* Setting diamonds and gemstones in a range of styles, including claw, channel, pavé, and flush settings.
* Resizing rings, re-tipping claws, polishing, rhodium plating, and other core bench tasks.
* Adapt to the varied needs of our clients, delivering tailored ideas or solutions and liaising directly with customers when required.
* Working both independently and collaboratively as part of a skilled workshop team.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a bench jeweller, including gold and platinum work.
* Competent in basic diamond setting; ideally highly experienced and confident in many setting styles, as well as working with gemstones.
* Strong handmaking skills, with a meticulous eye for detail.
* Ability to manage workload independently and work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Flexible and adaptable to client needs and workshop demands.
Hours
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
(with occasional Saturday work during busy periods approx. 6-12 per year)
