Account Executive job description Founded in 2018, Distinctive is a fast growing grocery sourcing business, supplying British retailers with differentiated products that customers truly value. The UK grocery market has been going through a massive transformation and Distinctive is on a mission to help retailers and brands grow faster throughout this process. Managed by a team of highly experienced ex-retailers that have set out to transform the way products reach customers; we deliver ambient and chilled, food and non-food products to our UK retail customers. We are expanding rapidly and are constantly looking for the right people to join our team. The Account Executive will play a fundamental role in the growth of Distinctive. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and shape a role and a team. Responsibilities This is a hugely diverse and varied role. The purpose of this role is:
* To develop and manage product offers
* Work closely with our clients to improve sales performance and service
* Monitoring performance metrics to measure against financial goals
* Keeping up to date with industry trends
* Preparing and leading suppliers and customers’ meetings In order to succeed in this role, you will have:
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Good commercial acumen
* Background in grocery retail or consumer goods and understand basic concepts in this sector
* Ability to work independently and in an ambiguous environment
* Good team player willing to roll up their sleeves Location
* Our office is based in Lichfield and the ideal candidate will be Midland based
* Work is hybrid and some travel necessary so a UK driving license is required Benefits
