Job Description: Facilities Management Supplier Lead - Glasgow
The CRES Colleague Services Site for Glasgow & Facilities Management Supplier Lead oversees facilities management for the UK, focusing on stakeholder relationships and campus strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop relationships with stakeholders at Glasgow Campus.
* Drive campus strategy in Scotland, engaging with government, community, commerce, and colleagues on facilities-related activities.
* Act as Supplier Manager for UK elements of the Global Integrated Facilities Management contract, valued at approximately £100m annually.
* Ensure service delivery aligns with contract outcomes.
Purpose of the Role:
To oversee and enhance the workplace experience, promoting productivity and wellbeing of the workforce.
Accountabilities:
* Partner with CRES team on campus maintenance, safety, sustainability, and related areas.
* Collaborate on campus engagement initiatives, including communication and external relationships.
* Drive campus efficiency through management of hybrid working, technology, and capacity planning.
Director Expectations:
* Manage a business function, influencing strategic initiatives, policies, and complex projects.
* Lead a large team or organization-wide projects, coaching and guiding less experienced staff.
* Provide strategic advice to senior management and influence decision-making.
* Manage resources, budgets, and policies for the sub-function.
* Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
* Monitor external environment and advocate on behalf of the organization.
* Maintain industry knowledge and apply analytical skills to solve complex problems.
* Negotiate and influence stakeholders at senior levels.
* Serve as principal contact for key clients and functions.
