Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative & Van Driver
Location: Wooburn Green
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Early finish on one day per week
No weekend working
Starting salary: £26,000 per year
This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and local deliveries to regular customers. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a team environment, follows procedures accurately, and enjoys varied responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and check incoming goods against delivery notes, reporting discrepancies
* Organize and store products in designated locations within the warehouse
* Pick, check, and pack goods for dispatch accurately
* Use courier software to process and dispatch outgoing shipments
* Operate equipment including delivery van, forklifts, and cable-cutting machines
* Deliver goods to local clients in a safe and timely manner
* Assist with stock-taking and update stock records using internal systems
* Complete stores-related paperwork and follow company procedures
* Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
What they're Looking For:
* A full, clean UK manual driving licence (essential)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role (preferred)
* Strong verbal communication and IT skills
* A reliable, methodical, and safety-conscious approach to work
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
