Position
Practice Nurse (15 hours per week, flexible across 2–3 days). This part‑time role is available at Bothwell Medical Centre.
About the Practice
We treat a population of just over 10,400 patients from our newly refurbished premises on 3 Uddingston Road, Bothwell, Glasgow G71 8ET. Our team includes six GP partners, a salaried GP, one practice nurse, full‑time pharmacotherapy support, two occupational therapists, a mental health nurse and a community link worker. We work with Vision and Docman software and are well‑established in GP training.
Responsibilities
* Perform chronic disease management within primary care.
* Conduct cervical screening and support sexual health and contraception reviews.
* Provide care to patients across various primary care settings, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development as required.
Qualifications
* NMC registration (mandatory).
* Preferably experience in primary care and chronic disease management.
* Ability or willingness to perform cervical screening and sexual health reviews.
* Independent Nurse Prescribing desirable but not essential.
Remuneration
AfC Grade 5‑6, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Contract
Permanent.
