Substance Misuse Nurse – Maternity Cover (1 Apr 2026 – 31 Dec 2026)
Location: Norwich
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours/week
Salary: £37,184.90 – £43,384.61 (CGL points 33-39)
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31 December 2026
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake physical and mental health assessments for service users
* Signpost or refer to primary or secondary health care services for identified health issues
* Provide education, health promotion and screening for blood borne viruses (BBV)
* Administer Hepatitis B vaccinations when indicated
* Contribute to CGL's Naloxone Strategy
* Ensure procedures are regularly reviewed to promote best practice in line with UK Guidelines, NICE guidance, and CGL protocols
* Provide harm reduction advice to injecting service users, distribute information and equipment, and ensure safe disposal of used equipment
* Record and input client data and information

* Regular national nurse forums, 11s, and appraisals
