Location: Central Bedfordshire College – The Incuba – Dunstable
Salary/Benefits: £31,930 – £36,878 per annum DOE; 45 days annual leave, Bank holidays, Teacher’s pension, discounts, professional development.
Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week – 52 weeks per year
Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time

About The Role
We are seeking a Lecturer in Electrical and Motor Vehicle to join the Construction department at The Bedford College Group.
* Teaching & Learning Delivery – Deliver engaging, up‑to‑date sessions that develop students’ life skills and vocational knowledge.
* Curriculum & Student Support – Contribute to curriculum development, organise work experience and provide pastoral support.
* Assessment & Administration – Set and mark assignments, maintain accurate learner records, liaise with awarding bodies.
* Professional Conduct & Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues and community organisations, promote equality and diversity.
* Qualifications & Development – Maintain Level 2 English and Maths, engage in continuous professional development.
About You
* Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, Level 2 in English and Maths, Assessor Award or willingness to achieve.
* Ability to teach across vocational areas using varied approaches and latest technology.
* Strong understanding of industry quality assurance systems, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Committed to continuous professional development and maintaining current knowledge.
* Dedicated to safeguarding, professional boundaries, and flexible across locations and schedules.
