About the Role
New Chapter Tuition is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutors to provide 1:1 personalised tuition to children and young people across Lincolnshire.
You will support learners with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and complex needs. Many of our learners are currently out of mainstream education or accessing alternative provision.
Tuition is delivered in home settings, libraries, community venues, and learning hubs.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver 1:1 SEN / SEND tuition (5-25 Years)
*
Plan personalised learning programmes aligned with EHCPs and support plans
*
Adapt lessons to meet individual learning styles and additional needs
*
Use flexible, trauma-informed and nurture-based approaches
*
Support emotional regulation, confidence, and engagement
*
Monitor progress and provide session reports
*
Liaise with families, schools, and other professionals
*
Maintain safeguarding and accurate records
Essential Requirements
*
Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
*
Knowledge of Autism, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs
*
Understanding of the UK National Curriculum
*
Ability to deliver engaging 1:1 sessions
*
Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
*
Strong communication skills
*
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
*
Right to work in the UK
Desirable
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Experience in alternative provision or outreach tuition
*
Experience supporting EHCP learners
