We are seeking a highly skilled Multi Skilled Paint Technician to join our dealer-located Luxury Pod, specialising in premium and luxury vehicle paint repair and refinishing. About the Role Working within a purpose-built environment, you will carry out high-quality paint repairs that meet exacting OEM warranty standards. From exotic finishes to multi-stage paint systems, you will use your craftsmanship, attention to detail, and technical expertise to deliver immaculate results. You’ll also liaise daily with key dealer personnel to plan workloads, meet deadlines, and ensure an efficient repair cycle time. Key Responsibilities Complete high-quality paint refinishing on vehicle panels and components to manufacturer standards. Apply specialist finishes including piano, mirror gloss, matte, satin, candy, pearlescent, and 3-stage tri-coat systems. Prepare, prime, blend, and refinish surfaces with precision. Mix and match paints using digital spectrophotometers and manufacturer systems. Handle specialist materials used in luxury vehicle manufacturing. Operate spray booths and drying equipment safely and effectively. Perform quality control checks before and after refinishing. Collaborate closely with Pod and dealer teams to manage workflow. Maintain a clean, organised working environment and calibrated equipment. Keep up to date with OEM paint processes and technologies through ongoing training. About You Essential Skills & Experience: Significant experience as a Paint Technician, ideally in a luxury or prestige repair environment. Expertise in high-end refinishing and exotic finishes. Competency in paint mixing, blending, and correction techniques. Experience in a controlled spray booth environment. Strong understanding of colour theory, surface preparation, and application. Skilled in exterior trim removal/refitting. Full UK driving licence. Desirable Skills & Experience: Multi-skilled training to ATA level or equivalent. Manufacturer-accredited training (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar Land Rover, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, Aston Martin, etc.). ATA or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Refinishing or equivalent. Experience with bespoke designs, 3-stage and candy systems. SMART repair and spot blending expertise. Knowledge of EV and hybrid paint processes.
