Reports to:Commercial Manager
Based at:London Area
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Senior Quantity Surveyor reporting to the Commercial Manager shall have the responsibility and authority for the administration and overseeing of all contracts assigned to REL and shall, at a minimum:-
* Management of Quantity Surveyors.
* Contract Reviews for all new tenders and quotations.
* Contract reviews prior to project implementation, with operational staff.
* Liaison with clients regarding commercial aspects of contracts.
* Ensure valuations and certifications are issued each period by the Quantty Surveyors.
* Ensure Cost Value Reports are produced for each project.
* Preparation of monthly commercial reports to the Commercial Manager.
* Comply with all REL company policies and procedures.
* Assist in any other aspect of the Company where required.
Scale and territory indicators:
* As, Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be based in the London Area, you will also be expected to be involved in commercial business throughout the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
* BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
* Minimum of 5 years experience working for a contractor.
