You will work collaboratively to support pupils from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4 with complex needs. You should have a good understanding of additional needs and inclusive education, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A patient, empathetic, and caring approach is essential, as is a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Experience supporting pupils with autism or complex needs is desirable. Knowledge of communication methods such as PECS or Makaton, and training in areas like safeguarding, first aid, or behaviour support, would be advantageous.
