We are one of Readings leading Blinds & Shutters companies. Due to expansion we are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team.
The role involves interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with our customers in a pleasant and informed manner.
Working from our showroom office, the vacancy would suit applicants that are looking for a flexible and interesting permanent position and would enjoy undertaking a wide range of tasks in a pleasant and friendly working environment.
The Role
* Overall Management of business
* Office Administration work
* Offering informed and professional advice to our customers
* Managing a diary / scheduling customer appointments
* Managing telephone, internet, and face to face enquiries
* Following up quotations
* Order management and purchasing
* Managing staff and setting goals, targets, KPIs etc
* Managing WIP (Work in progress)
* Reporting to Directors and Head Office
Requirements
* General computer skills ideally including experience of Word, Excel & Outlook
* Self-motivated, well organised and ability to work under pressure
* Professional clear and polite oral & written communication
* Ability to lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service and quality
* Blinds and Shutter experience ESSENTIAL
The position offers a generous salary dependant on experience.

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
