An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-focused Management Accountant to join a growing and well-established organisation. This role is ideal for someone with solid hands-on accounting experience who is currently AAT Level 4 qualified.
This is a standalone position so the successful candidate must be confident in all aspects of the role with minimal input from outsourced support.
What you’ll be doing
1. Leading month-end close activities
2. Managing prepayments and accruals
3. Maintaining the fixed asset register
4. Performing balance sheet reconciliations
5. Producing profit & loss reports
6. Preparing and submitting VAT returns
7. Completing bank reconciliations
8. Liaising with payroll and pension providers
9. Supporting and overseeing the annual external audit
10. Providing guidance and oversight to the finance team
What we’re looking for
11. AAT Level 4 qualified (minimum)
12. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
13. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
14. Confident user of accounting systems – SAP B1 and Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs)
