Hours of work: Seasonal Contract - Variable Hours
Salary: £13.53 per hour – Paid weekly
What You’ll Be Doing
You will be in the thick of the action with your team, ensuring that meals are prepped, cooked and served to our exacting standards, from the simplest salad to the seasonal specials. This includes:
- Assuming responsibility for consistent and prompt food preparation and ensuring all our meals meet our high standards
- Helping the team to comply with agreed specifications of all dishes, ensuring correct portion sizes are followed and waste is closely managed
- Ensuring safe, clean, hygienic and tidy workspaces within the kitchen, always complying with all food hygiene and safety regulations
- Helping to control food margins through effective stock management, knowledge of product specifications and team coaching
- Working on bank holidays and weekends as required
Skills, Experience and Qualities You’ll Need
- Level Two Hygiene Certificate
- 1‑2 years’ experience working as a line cook, commis chef or chef de Partie
- Exceptional communication skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to identify and solve problems
- A real passion for food and enthusiasm
- Resilience under pressure
It is an advantage if you have kitchen experience in a busy holiday park and have experience supervising others.
