Quantity Surveyor
A leading highways infrastructure contractor is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a major Kent Highways term maintenance contract commencing May 2026.
This long-term public sector framework involves routine and reactive maintenance, asset improvements and safety defect repairs across the county.
The Quantity Surveyor’s Role
You will manage defined workstreams within a high-volume term maintenance contract environment.
Responsibilities include:
Managing subcontractor accounts
Pricing task orders and variations
Administering NEC-based contracts
Monthly applications and valuations
Cost forecasting and CVR reporting
Liaising with depot managers and operational teams
Supporting final accounts
You will report to a Senior QS or Commercial Manager within a decentralised business unit structure.
The Quantity Surveyor
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
3–6 years’ contractor-side experience
Highways, civils, utilities or infrastructure background
NEC contract knowledge essential
Experience in high-volume maintenance environments advantageous
Strong communication skills
Full UK driving licence

Salary: £50,000 – £70,000
