Job Description:

Function:
The Business Consultant will work for the customer and the Itineris project and service delivery teams, responsible for the success of the UMAX solution by ensuring customer needs are managed from a business and market regulations perspective. They will focus on providing relevant business and market guidance to our application consultants and support mediation decisions with the customer business.
The role is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK or EIR and requires experience of the Irish market, both ROI and NIE and ERP implementation experience is a plus.
UMAX is the brand name of our software solution for water and energy utilities, automating business processes and enabling better customer engagement. It is a cloud-based solution built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.
As our Business Consultant with market experience (EIR), you will:
* Act as the link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
* Manage customer expectations and support functional experts to ensure business needs are translated into functional requirements.
* Attend workshops and meetings onsite with customers.
* Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing.
* Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution to go to market.
* Collaborate closely and develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project delivery teams.
* Participate in project progress meetings and proactively identify risk areas.
* Deliver high-quality consulting services to new and existing customers.
* Work with consultants to upskill in industry best practices and understand the energy market in Ireland (ROI & NIE).
* Continuously develop and extend your knowledge within the Utility market, especially the Irish market, and transfer knowledge to colleagues.
What you bring
* Strong analytical skills (master’s degree or equivalent experience).
* In-depth knowledge of the Irish energy market.
* At least 5 years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant, preferably in large, complex ERP/CRM projects.
* Expertise in identifying business requirements and understanding business processes.
* Skilled in Business Process Management.
* Excellent communication skills in English, with Dutch as a plus.
* Willing to travel depending on project phase.
* A team player with a problem-solving mentality.
* Hands-on, proactive, and quality-driven.
* Customer-oriented and adaptable to fast-changing environments.
