Position: Highly Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist
We are seeking a full-time Highly Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be confident and competent in physiotherapy assessment and management of children and young people aged 0 to 19 years with neurodevelopmental disabilities. About the role
As a highly specialist neurodevelopmental paediatric physiotherapist, you will work autonomously across various settings, providing high-quality physiotherapy support to children and young people with disabilities. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support gross motor development and provide specialist advice to other disciplines.
The purpose of this role is to:
1. Provide neurodevelopmental paediatric physiotherapy services to children aged 0-18 (up to 19 in special schools) with developmental disorders and neurological disabilities, including complex and long-term disabilities.
2. Conduct physiotherapy assessments using standardised assessments and outcome measures.
3. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, families, carers, and other professionals to maintain a holistic view and provide comprehensive support.
4. Promote functional independence through assessment and prescription of equipment and aids as needed.
