Octagon Group is partnering exclusively with a leading Satellite Communications Engineering organisation near Watford in Hertfordshire (just West of London) with over 40 years in the industry. They have experienced year-on-year growth and are looking to add a Senior RF Design Engineer to their R&D team.
As a Senior RF Design Engineer, you will design and develop RF electronic products and systems from L-band to Ku band, involving design, development, testing, and implementation. If you have RF electronic design experience and seek your next career challenge, this role is suitable for you.
* Technical background in RF and/or Microwave Engineering, ideally with L-band to Ku-band exposure.
* Experience with RF Systems Engineering.
* Academic background in Electronics, RF, Wireless Communications, Microwave Engineering or similar.
* Ability to work on full product lifecycle development (design and test from concept to production).
* Exposure to RF test and measurement equipment.
* Exposure to TwTs, RF over Fibre, or RF Filter design is beneficial but not essential.
