Vehicle Painter - Thorne (DN8) - Leading Automotive Services Provider

What you NEED
* Proven experience as a vehicle painter or in automotive refinishing
* Ability to prep, mask, paint, and polish vehicles to high standards
* Knowledge of applying paint and primer according to manufacturer instructions
* Basic detrim and trim skills within a bodyshop setting
* Commitment to health & safety and environmental compliance (ISO 9001/14001 awareness is a plus)
Role & Responsibilities
* Apply paint and primer to vehicles following manufacturer and company work instructions.
* Prepare vehicles and panels to a standard that allows them to be refinished to high-quality standards.
* Mask vehicles ahead of painting and polish vehicles and panels post-paint.
* Carry out warranty repairs as required and perform basic detrim/trim tasks within the bodyshop.
* Ensure all repairs are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health & safety legislation.
* Correctly log all jobs in the workshop system and follow management instructions.
* Embrace new methods, techniques, and training as required.
* Support the team and perform other reasonable duties to meet operational requirements.
